Sava Životno Osiguranje launches surgical interventions coverage

Life insurer Sava Životno Osiguranje, a Serbia-based member of the Sava Insurance Group, has designed a coverage for surgical interventions in the form of a life insurance rider.

The new coverage has the following features:

• It is intended to cover the costs arising from surgical interventions to aid patients’ post-surgical treatment and rehabilitation.
• The rider will cover 370 listed surgical interventions.
• The sum insured is limited to a maximum of EUR 15,000 and is set for each type of procedure as a percentage of the maximum sum insured.
• The rider covers the policyholders’ children up to age 10 with a sum insured of up to EUR 5,000.

The sustainable development strategy of the Sava Insurance Group is oriented towards the promotion of good health and well-being, which is one of the 17 global sustainability goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The Group contributes to this goal through its products related to healthcare.
