Davor Ivan Gjivoje Jr is an American citizen. He is the chief executive of a holding company, the main activities of which are hotel development, airline marketing and hospitality-related investments. Over the past twenty years, he has held various top executive positions at Networld, Inc. / DGG Holdings, Ltd. Prior to that, he worked in banking (Citibank NA) and as a consultant (The Boston Consulting Group). Davor I. Gjivoje Jr is a graduate of Brown University, Providence, RI (BA), and also of the Harvard Business School, Boston, MA (MBA). He also studied at Cambridge University in the UK. He is also active in education as president of the Board of Education of Harding Township School, Harding, NJ. Since 2022, he has been the chairman of the supervisory board of Sava Turizem d.d. and the chairman of the supervisory board of Sava d.d. (both with head offices at Dunajska 152, 1000 Ljubljana). Davor I. Gjivoje Jr started serving as a member of the Sava Re supervisory board in 2017 and as its chairman in 2021. He is also a member of the risk committee and of the nominations and remuneration committee.

Keith William Morris
Deputy Chairman

Keith William Morris is a British citizen. He has spent most of his career in finance. From 1989 until his retirement, he worked in chief executive roles, mostly in insurance and within large groups, such as the Eagle Star Group, American International Group (AIG), Allianz Group and RBS Insurance (Direct Line Group). From 2003 to 2008, he served as a non-executive director of Standard Life Bank and Standard Life Insurance Company and has also held non-executive roles in six other smaller organisations. Keith is chairman of the HMS Victory Preservation Endowment Trust. This is his third term of office as a member of the supervisory board of Sava Re (since 2013). Keith W. Morris is also the chairman of the risk committee, a member of the nominations and remuneration committee, and the chairman of the fit and proper committee.

Klemen BabnikMEMBER

Klemen Babnik is a university graduate lawyer. Since March 2020, he has been employed with the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure. He started his career in the judiciary and continued in state administration. He took a course in corporate governance at Harvard University in the United States. Since 2014, he has gained experience in various executive positions in state administration. Since January 2023, he has served on the supervisory board of Sava d.d., a financial holding company with investments in the tourism and financial sectors (with registered office at Dunajska 152, Ljubljana). This is his first term of office as a member of the supervisory board of Sava Re. Klemen Babnik is also the chairman of the nominations and remuneration committee and a member of the fit and proper committee.

Dr Matej GombošiMember

Matej Gomboši holds a PhD in computer and information science. In 2016, he joined the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia as the head of IT development and maintenance. He started his carrier in 1998 as an IT assistant and senior IT researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor. His track record of executive positions also includes the position of deputy managing director of IT at Elektro Slovenija d.o.o., where he was in charge of coordinating major multi-division projects. He also has leadership experience in local self-government and international experience with the Council of Europe. From 2011 to 2016, he served as chairman on the supervisory board of the Sinergija Development Agency. This is his first term of office as a member of the supervisory board of Sava Re. Matej Gomboši is also the chairman of the audit committee and a member of the nominations and remuneration committee.

Blaž GarbajsMember, employee representative

Blaž Garbajs has a university degree in economics (university graduated economist). Blaž joined Sava Re in 2011 as a senior asset manager in the finance department. Since November 2019, he has been the director of corporate finance. He is also the head of the corporate finance business line at the Group level. He has a proven track record of managing and supporting complex projects that are of strategic importance to the Company and the Group. Blaž is also a member of the audit committee of an associate company active in the healthcare sector, and this committee also serves as the audit committee for two of the associate’s subsidiaries. He started his role as a member of the Sava Re supervisory board in June 2023. Blaž Garbajs is also a member of the audit committee and a member of the nominations and remuneration committee.

Edita RituperMember, employee representative

Edita Rituper has a university degree in economics (university graduated economist). She has dedicated her entire professional career to the insurance and reinsurance industry. She gained her experience, also in a managerial capacity, at Zavarovalnica Triglav and Vzajemna Zdravstvena Zavarovalnica. Edita joined the Sava Insurance Group in April 2008, first as a representative of the parent company in the subsidiaries, and later in management positions in the subsidiary Sava Osiguranje, Serbia. She also has experience in the supervision of the Group’s insurance companies. In July 2019, she joined Sava Re, initially as sustainability coordinator in the office of the management board and of compliance, where she was in charge of social responsibility and coordination of sustainable development at the Group level as head of the sustainable development business line. She is currently deputy director of the insurance, sales and Group governance business centre. She joined the Sava Re supervisory board in January 2022. This is her second consecutive term of office. Edita Rituper is also a member of the nominations and remuneration committee.
