Specialist in reinsurance actuarial affairs

We are looking for a new team member to work as a specialist in reinsurance actuarial affairs.

Your main responsibilities:

• participating in the calculation of technical provisions (IFRS 17 and Solvency II), the validation of the calculations and the substantive explanation of the results,
• maintaining and upgrading the models used to produce projections, statistics and analyses of the reinsurance portfolio,
• participating in the performance of the statutory duties of the actuarial function,
• ensuring data quality and participating in the implementation of new IT support,
• implementing the most demanding professional tasks in the area,
• providing technical assistance to colleagues,
• executing complex project tasks,
• cooperating with other organisational units of the Company,
• rendering similar services related to the above if instructed by superiors.

Our expectations:

• a university degree in natural sciences, mathematics or economics (level VII),
• at least 5 years of work experience,
• proficiency in English,
• good command of MS Office tools,
• goal-orientation, research, analysis and business forecasting skills, communication skills, ability to work in a team, tidy appearance, diligence, precision, consistency, systematic working methods, and sense of initiative.

Preference will be given to candidates with an actuarial background, programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, and additional knowledge and experience in the insurance business.
